Immerse yourself in any of three different themed Christmas markets to help you get into the Christmas spirit: at the Bergweihnachtsmarkt – Magic of the Alps and Little Huts, a fascinating alpine-themed Christmas market at the heart of the Ruhr region, more than 60 alpine huts and traditional alpine music will capture your imagination. Awaiting you is a winter wonderland with snow-covered winter landscapes, sledding tracks and cosy aprés-ski parties in the evenings. In Santa’s Village you will experience the bright, colourful, vibrant world of Christmas; more than 50 Christmas stalls extend all the way up the promenade which is decorated and draped with thousands of lights, enabling you to experience a huge range of Christmas-themed delights. The Wichtelmarkt (fairytale market) is a mesmerising, enchanted world for children and families alike. With a talking fairytale tree, charming storybook creatures, a whimsical fairytale railway and a colourful merry-go-round, this market offers something for all the family.
In addition to all of this, on the upper floors of the CentrO shopping centre you will find a magical winter wonderland with a spectacular display of Christmas decorations. Making that Christmas shopping experience even more fun!
