Sustainability is not a trend for us, but an attitude. We take responsibility – for our environment, for our region, for our guests and our hotel team. We focus on environmentally conscious action, fair partnerships and regional products – out of conviction and with a view to a future worth living.

Sustainability begins for us in everyday life. We manage resources carefully, regularly check our processes and develop sensible measures for greater environmental friendliness – without losing sight of the comfort of our guests. Our goal is to create a place of well-being in which sustainability and comfort are not opposites but rather an active cooperation Because we are convinced: sustainability and well-being are not mutually exclusive – on the contrary, they complement each other.
For example, our guests decide for themselves whether they want their room cleaned daily. In the restaurant, we offer a diverse selection – from meat dishes to vegetarian and vegan dishes. The drinks menu includes both international classics and a regional wine that supports endangered animal species through its sale.

Energy: Electricity & heat
Goal: Reducing energy consumption and using regenerative energy sources.
Measures:
- Use of LED lighting as soon as old lamps reach the end of their service life
- Motion detectors and timers in areas that are not used frequently
- Switch to certified green electricity since 01.01.2025
- Regular inspection and maintenance of the systems to optimize efficiency

Goal: Minimizing water consumption and reducing environmental pollution from wastewater
Measures:
- Installation of water-saving faucets and shower systems as soon as old ones reach the end of their service life
- Daily towel change only at the request of guests
- Use of environmentally friendly cleaning agents with low water pollution
- Raising employee awareness of the economical use of water
Catering & food
Goal: Sustainable procurement, reduction of food waste and promotion of regional suppliers
Measures:
- Use of seasonal and regional food
- Cooperation with regional producers and suppliers
- Optimization of storage and planning to reduce food waste
